Supporting Veterans Through Care and Accountability
Platoon 22 proudly serves as the case management partner for the Veterans Treatment Court, working alongside the court, treatment providers, and community partners to support justice-involved veterans.
Veterans Treatment Court is designed to address the underlying challenges that may contribute to a veteran’s involvement in the justice system, including mental health concerns, substance use, and barriers to stability. Through accountability, treatment, and structured support, the program helps veterans work toward recovery and long-term success.
As part of the Veterans Treatment Court team, Platoon 22 provides individualized case management, connecting participants with critical resources such as housing support, healthcare, behavioral health services, employment assistance, and peer support. Our goal is to ensure veterans have the tools and support they need to stabilize their lives and successfully complete the program.
By combining accountability with compassion, Veterans Treatment Court offers veterans a pathway toward healing, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Additionally, Platoon 22 is always seeking mentors to support this program in Frederick and Washington County. Court sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month in Frederick, and mentors work with their mentees both during and outside of the courtroom.
