22 Faces. 22 Lives. One Unignorable Reality.
The Faces of 22 Exhibit is a powerful visual installation representing 22 veterans lost to suicide. There are no biographies. No lengthy narratives. Only faces. Because sometimes, seeing is what makes it real.

What You’ll See
Twenty-two faces. Each one represents a veteran who is no longer here. No additional context. No explanation. Just a moment to stand still and feel the weight of what 22 truly looks like.
Why 22 Matters
For years, “22 a day” has represented the number of veterans lost to suicide each day in the United States. Whether the exact number changes or not, the reality remains the same. Lives are being lost. Families are being changed forever. This exhibit takes that number out of conversation and places it directly in front of you.

Why There Are No Stories
Because the absence is the point. When you do not know their names, you are forced to imagine them: a friend, a sibling, a parent, a battle buddy. It becomes personal. And that is where change begins.
What We Hope You Take With You
- 22 is not just a number
- Every face represents a life that mattered
- Silence is part of the problem
- Awareness must lead to action
